Mountain Hearth & Patio is unique in that we provide “idea-to-fire” project management services that streamline the process of choosing and installing a new fire appliance. Our mission is to deliver a pleasant and seamless experience from start to finish.
We are not like some fireplace retailers who sell products and then leave you to do everything else: assessing your heating and fuel needs and potential site challenges, measuring, addressing dozens of behind-the-scenes logistics challenges, finding a reputable installer, and supervising the installation.

Browse our showroom online and give us a call to discuss your project. Or, take a scenic drive to our fireplace showroom at 7001 Highway 73 in Evergreen where we have 75+ models of gas and wood-burning fireplaces, stoves and inserts, electric fireplaces, gas fire pits, custom doors, mantels, and wall systems on display.
Our knowledgeable consultants will help you:
Choose the appliance type, fuel type, size, heat output, and aesthetic
Choose design elements including finishes, fronts, media, and optional accessories
Address any special considerations for your unique situation
Next, we assess the technical aspects of the project including site inspections, measurements, and issues that could affect the installation.
Our Proposal details every aspect of the project. Upon your acceptance, we order your appliance, options, and accessories needed for installation.

We gather detailed information during the discovery process so that all necessary items are ordered and ready by installation day.
Step 2: Installation
We never use sub-contractors. Our in-house NFI-Certified specialists are experts in gas, wood, electric, and pellet installations. We are licensed, bonded, and insured and arrive in a branded truck. Our courteous installation technicians will treat your home with the utmost respect. We are sticklers about our No-Mess guarantee!
Your installation techs will also provide you with instruction on how to use your new fireplace, insert, or stove to set you up for success.

Step 3: Service and Repair
Our service business, Mountain Man Fireplace & Chimney Inc, offers quality maintenance and repair services for all makes and models of gas, wood, or pellet fireplace, stove, or insert to ensure continuous safe operation:
Regular maintenance including inspections, cleaning, and chimney sweeping
Troubleshooting, repairs, and replacement of defective parts and accessories
Real estate pre-sale inspections
Chimney inspections, leaky chimney repairs, caps, re-lining, masonry repairs, flashing sealing, and replacement of faulty crown covers and chase covers
Dryer vent service
All services are performed by our in-house NFI or CSIA-certified technicians (NO sub-contractors). Our motto is Service with Integrity. Hundreds of five-star Google reviews prove that our service is second to none!

We simplify things by scheduling annual maintenance well in advance so you’re always ready for the heating season.
special considerations
There are a few things we address with every client:
Every situation is different. Every project comes with unique challenges. Installations are rarely as straightforward as they seem and a lot goes on behind the scenes! We take extra time to thoroughly assess your situation during the sales consultation so every contingency is resolved by installation day. Examples include the need for a plumber to run a gas line; clearances are not to code; a crumbling masonry chimney; challenging access; and venting.
The high altitude of Colorado affects the way all hearth appliances perform, which makes it even more important to choose the right product and understand how to optimize its efficiency.
If you want models and style options outside of what we offer, we partner with a number of reputable manufacturers whose products aren’t displayed in our showroom - but we can order them for you.
